Happy Mother's Day

To my mother Happy Mother's Day! Unfortunately I will not be able to go back home to Miri, to celebrate this celebration with my mother and my family due to my final exams...

Heard from Bradley there would be a dinner at my house tonight... All my cousins... All my aunts and uncles... My grandparents... How I wish I was there with them... But no worries... I will be updated...

Hopefully my mother likes what I have got for her...

Bought the gifts with my cousin Mr. Bradley last Friday at The Spring... First I wanted to buy for her a handbag from MNG... But then when I asked my cousin he said NO... He said my mother has too many handbags and she does not know what to do with them... Plus I remembered giving her an Esprit gold coloured bag for her birthday... So I put aside my intention of buying another bag...

After that my cousin and I went to L'Occitane... There I asked the friendly female supervisor whether they have Mother's Day Special gifts... Then she said YES! So I asked her again what perfume should I get for my mother if she likes sweet and soft scent... She quickly introduced me to a couple of perfumes and she sprayed both perfumes on two testing paper strips... Good to me she expressed her personal opinions on both perfumes and which one she liked best... So I bought the one that she and my cousin liked - the PINK perfume... She wrapped it in a special wrapper and she put it in the beautiful L'Occitane paper bag... We both said our goodbyes and left the store...

Then we went back to MNG and I bought for my mother a string shirt... Light brown in colour... Something simple but nice... According to my mother's hard-to-tell taste of fashion... And the workers there were POLITE!

Skin Disease

I have a confession to make... It is regarding my skin... I actually have skin disease... My skin is very sensitive... And I have to live with it for the rest of my life...

Despite all the suffering and medications I have to go through to make my skin normal I am not regretting it... Because? Because it is a special family flaw... It makes us different with other people... With other typical normal family...

Actually my skin has gone better over the past years when my mother brought me to specialized clinics... And it worked! Thank to the doctors... But the cycle started again when I attended my first practical session this semester... It was a practical on wielding... So we had to wear gloves... Thick gloves which were specifically made for wielding... They meant to protect us from the sparks but to my utter dismay it accidentally triggered my skin to go back to its bad condition...

I could not blame them - the tutors and inspectors... They had no idea that I have such sensitivity... For now all I can do is pray...

Ouch!

My fingers are hurting me day by day... The skin is ripped open... Everytime I have to wash my hands or take my bath or anything that has to do with water touching the skin on my wounded fingers it would be a screaming moment to me...

Why? It hurts badly when an open skin and flesh have contact with liquids... I'm sighing now... For the fact that my used-to-be good skin has now come back to its previous condition - ITHCY! I cannot help but to scratch it... And when I do my skin would be peeled off by then... But I would continue on scratching because it feels so good!

Unfortunately my action has its own consequences... Bad ones actually...

Attention Kenjar!

I missed sending you this evening to the airport for your 4:30 flight back to Miri... Back to where us cousins usually refer to as nothing-is-special-once-you're-back-in-Miri life...

Anyways, sorry for not replying your messages... The first message you sent me about your flight being delayed from 5:00 to 6:00, I was doing my practical... Had no time to reply, plus I had no credit and I did not hear my phone... Then, the second time you sent me a message I was taking my evening shower after coming back from the session...

So, I have heard from Abang Ayen and Kakak Nana that you were pissed with those people at Big Apple regarding your booking of 5 big boxes of 12-pieces donuts yesterday... What happened actually? Tell me the whole havoc that happened there just now... =)

Oh Gosh!

Just came back from my practical... FINALLY! All the practicals are now a memory in my past... No more waking up early on a weekend morning which was always at around 6:00... Pure torture!

Actually we had the toughest practical ever! All our energy was drained out from every inch of our muscles... Just imagine we had to shape an already rectangular metal to make it perfectly level at 90 degrees on every side... And the worst thing was we were only allowed to use a FLAT FILE to shape it! Damn stressful! My body is aching now... Especially my arms... Both of them!

Thank goodness we had each other to cheer ourselves up... To drift our mind away from the hardship we were going through from 8:00 this morning...

Now I can swing my leg freely on the couch... While holding a snack in my hand... But not for long... Final exams are around the corner... Just next week in fact... But I cannot study tonight... Have to sleep... A goodnight sleep... Then maybe tomorrow then I can start revising some notes... Hopefully all the notes can be registered into my brain...

Escapees Beware!

We actually escaped from our MUET mock exam! Something we are scared of doing... But we have got to do it... Reason? We did not want to do the second paper - WRITING! The funny thing that will happen is when our beautiful MUET teacher find us missing for the last paper for today... She would be wondering where are her loyal students? Suddenly disappear!

We, as in myself, Anip, Kecik, Reza, and Barry, thought that this mock test would be among ourselves... Among our own classmates... Then when we entered the auditorium we were surprise by the amount of STRANGERS that were in there... Other students who are taking the exam too! Then, to our another utter surprise, there would be 3 papers to do today - LISTENING, READING, and finally WRITING...

So we made a plan... A plan where we would go home after the second paper... And we did! And now I am at home, relaxing... Before fetching my cousin Bradley @ Kenjar from the airport later this evening...

But for now... SLEEP!

Fab 5 Moments

How I miss our time together last 2 years in KL... Went out everyday to KLCC... To Mid Valley... To Berjaya Times Square... Using the taxi... Not to mention the train services there...

Spending time from morning until night as Fab 5... Laughing together... Quarelling about clothes together... And about food too... Nobody dared to stop us from going out and having the moments of our lives as cousins... More than just normal cousins... More bounded just like siblings...

Hopefully this year brings another vacation for us all... All 5 of us again... Spreading our much-hated-and-envied noise and attitude to the garden city of KL...

Kenjar's KL Invasion

Dear Bradley,

Enjoy your time there ok? You deserve a holiday... You deserve a rest... Truthfully I am quite jealous of listening to your time out with Heidi yesterday in KLCC when I called you up... The first time I called you and Heidi were in Girls... Then when I called you up for the second time, and I spoke to Heidi, the two of you were on your way to our most desirable spot in the whole KLCC - the Starbucks!

So where did you guys go after that? I want to know! It just felt like I was with you guys yesterday through your shopping spree... Shopping enough already Bradley? Or more to come? My bet is with the second option... Prediction really... If possible bring the whole mall back with you... I know you would...

Do not forget to go to the 2 new shopping malls... And you know where... Ask Heidi for assistance too... So enjoy your much awaited holiday in KL city! =)

From,
Sydney C.

Bleeding

Yesterday I had an accident... During my milling practical session... Cut my fingers... 3 of them actually... Done by the small-sized drill bit that was used for the milling machine... It was my fault really... I had to get the drill bit that was stucked in its casing... But instead of succesfully pulling it out I had 3 cuts on 3 fingers...

My fingers were bleeding badly... Lots of blood had been thrown away yesterday... Then I quickly went to my supervisor/lecturer for the day to get cleaned up and checked... He brought me to the school clinic and got me bandages for my bloody fingers... During that chaotic time I left my practical buddy Reza to handle the machine alone... All by himself...

Bad day I guess... But what is done is done... I cannot undo time... How I wish I could...

Nevermind everything... I can still type and hold things... Despite my not-so-good attempt to button up my jeans and pants... So I have to leave them open for a few days until the pain ceases and finally disappears... But for now I have to coincide with the fact that I am temporarily a disable person...

One Year Older

This afternoon we went out for lunch with Mr. Abg Moasili... Lunch at the Chicken Rice Shop at The Spring... Together with my other 2 friends, namely Aniep and Barry... Had conversations with our Basic and Business English tutor about lots of things, mainly on education and how to strive in the tough world of engineering...

Our eyes and mind were opened to new possibilities and understandings in the concept of doing our best even in the things that we may think are hard to accomplish through normal hardship... So, after stuffing our stomach we went to MNG to get a birthday present for a friend and then straight to MPH to get a present wrapper... After we were done with everything we went back to college for our PLC class at 3...

We surprised her with the present we had bought for her because she did not aspect us to remember her birthday... So we got you JAC! HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY TO YOU! =P

So Wasted

Our PLC lecturer told us on Tuesday that we are going to have a class photoshoot on the 24th, which was yesterday... We were told to go to college at 2:00 in the afternoon... To meet him in his class... But unfortunately when we did we found out that our photoshoot was to be postponed until further notice due to his sudden meeting... I was upset for the fact that I put much effort in dressing up and choosing the right attire to wear... Plus my friends and I had put on black shirts and tops... But it was all to no use...

So we had to wait for him for an hour or two... But my class, being a stubborn one, did not follow his orders... My friends left the room after just half an hour of waiting... Everybody went home, leaving the classroom with no one... The worst thing was they left the equipments for our college open day unattended... No one seem to care if the equipments were safe or not... Then there were the chairs... Scattering around the room in havoc condition...

So I did some cleaning up... Put the chairs in their respective places as ordered by our lecturer... And I took my time in arranging the PLC equipments that were to be used the following morning... Then I went to meet my friends downstairs...

Peterpan Shook Stadium Perpaduan!

What a night it was! Peterpan came down to Kuching on their Malaysian Tour and performed at Stadium Perpaduan... And I tell you what! IT WAS FANTASTIC! Love them much... Love their songs much more...

Came back from my practical session around 5:00 and arrived home at 5:30... Went straight to the ironing board to iron my jeans and shirt and had a rushing shower time... Had my dinner in a swift before heading straight to the concert... My cousin Jack drove in a lightning speed because the concert was about to start when I left... But after I arrived at the stadium I had to wait until almost 8:00 before they finally opened the entrance to let us all in... Then we waited for another hour before it started... I stood stupidly alone among the pouring crowd... Before Peterpan took control of the stage a Sarawakian band which I forgot what their group name was and OAG sang first...

And When Peterpan finally did take the stage and started singing their opening song of the night the fans went uncontrollable... We were screaming our lungs out... Jumping to the rhythm... They sang HAPUSKAN JEJAKMU and BUKA DULU TOPENGMU among other smash hits... The atmosphere in the stadium last night was hard to put into words... Even until now... Peterpan was such an amazing band and they still is and forever will be... Peterpan rocks! =)

You Coward!

FCUK you! COWARD little BASTARD! Knocked my sister and her friend of the motorcycle they were riding and you left them bleeding on the road while you sped off with your WHITE UGLY Kancil away from the scene? Is that who you trully are? Slammed on two ladies and ran for your life? Ran from the fear that you will get caught hitting them and because of your FOOLISHNESS? Not knowing how to drive properly and with ethics on the road? Let me recount the story my sister told me on the night of the accident... She and her colleague Ros were riding home from work last Tuesday night and they were just passing by Servay and Grand Palace when the Kancil hit them both on the side... This caused the 2 of them and the bike to lose balance and fell rolling on the road... And whoever it was driving the Kancil quickly drove away...

Thank the LORD for the 2 young men who offered help to my sister and her friend... Fortunately they both went to the clinic and got treated with minor wounds on their arms, hips, and legs... Now! To that STUPID person driving that night I HOPE that YOU will suffer the same FATE... What I call RETRIBUTION...

The Beautiful Britney Spears

Stay strong both in your mind and your body and be positive that you will someday return back to your used-to-be perfect world which only a pop princess can cherish on...

Never let your mind wonder off by thinking that you have no one in this world to support you like before because your true fans are waiting for your to head back up in the music scene and fashion world where you once conquered...

We will wait! Because we Love You!

Christmas Is In The Air

Ahhh! Finally... I can relax... After all the hard work... It was tiring and undeniably full of fun... So much fun... Lost? Alright... Like this... My sister, my cousin, and myself have just finished decorating our house with the christmas tree and the christmas ornaments... We started off our christmas decorating session by putting the white christmas lights outside of our house... At the car porch... On the horizontal wooden pillar... It was hard to get the lights to stick to the pillar with just the ordinary tape... It can't withstand the heavy weight of the lights... So my cousin and i borrowed my sister's special tape to stick the lights in place...

And it worked! Fuuuh! But still it was a tough task for 2 people to manage... Initially my sister was supposed to help the 2 of us but her best friend came and stole her away from us... Literally! So good of her! To be spared of the tiring work... So 2 people sticking long heavy lights ain't helpful... After we finished with the lights, we decorated the front patio with a few figurines of Mr. Santa Claus and 2 christmas candles... And not to mention the pretty snowflakes my mum bought which we hanged around the front of the house... Then after all the outside tasks had been completed, we moved inside... Mostly we hanged christmas decorations on the ceilin or we just put them on around... In our case we put them on my sister's piano, on the furniture, on the toilet door, on the kitchen window, and on top of the cupboard... Anyplace that was empty and suitable...

Lastly we did the most important task, which was to decorate the christmas tree... By then my sister had just came back from her dinner with her girl-friend... So us 3 started to decorate the christmas tree... We began by putting the tiny lights around the christmas tree before we started to put other ornaments on it... When we finally finished decorating the christmas tree by puttin the star on top, which was done by my nephew, it truly was a beautiful sight... All the energy that we put into it payed off... We were proud of our work...

And only one word to describe it - WOW!

Addictive Tracks Of 2007

We keep on humming the tunes of these songs even when we are in the shower or just strolling down the sidewalk during our evening jog... We cannot stop playing the rhythm in our little head... The songs will keep on repeating over and over again as if in a loop or something... As for me I have my own personal favourite ones that stick in my head... And these favourite ones will either make me want to strut my stuff on the dance floor or just give me the energy I need for the day ahead of me... So the listing begins...

And the songs are :

1) Impacto by Daddy Yankee feat Fergie
2) If That's Ok With You by Shayne Ward
3) Stranger by Hilary Duff
4) The Way I Are by Timbaland
5) Lovestoned by Justin Timberlake
6) Clumsy by Fergie
7) Gimme More by Britney Spears
8) Rockstar by Prima J
9) Delivery by Babyshambels
10) I Fell In Love With The DJ by Chenelle...

There are more songs that are not listed here for the list can get pretty long if I do list them all... But everyone has their own personal likings... And I bet that urs are much different than mine... But whatever the songs are we got pretty hooked up by them now!

Dumb Girl At Pottery!

Shit! That girl was so damn rude to my sister... The story began when my innocent sister wanted to walk straight ahead toward the shampoo section... She was right in front of my sister when we were moving forward and she, being a stupid girl she was, hesitated to move like she did not know where to go and that slowed down the movement of those shoppers at the back of her including us...

So when she suddenly stopped in the middle of the way my sister almost knocked her on the back... And when my sister said "so undecided" in front of her ugly face she stared at my sister... Shit la! Dah la her face looked like a rubbish bin about to get rid off to the dumping ground... Then she had the guts to be angry at my sister?! WTF! Hello! It was her fault and she scolded my sister for that... Then she murmured something that we, normal people couldn't understand... It was because she spoke in a different language altogether... I guess she was born that way...

But we were not fools... We knew by her tone that she was scolding us and maybe cursing us for saying what we had said... Then we walked pass her and when i turned around to look at her oh-so-ewww face she was still staring my sister... As if wanting for a forgiveness... No way! Not in a million years! It was ur fault... Someone seriously needs to teach that girl some manners and walking rules... Felt like smacking her right in the face! I hope she tripped somewhere there or better she broke something fragile... STUPID!
